The story behind
JC Saw & Stitch.
Crafted with intention, from the warmth of wood to the precision of the needle.
Made with intention.
Every piece that leaves our workshop carries a little piece of us with it. JC Saw and Stitch was born from a love of two crafts, the warmth of wood and the precision of the needle, and a belief that the things we surround ourselves with should be made with intention.
We are a small, independent maker studio. Each clock, tray, coaster, bag, and pouch is designed, crafted, assembled, and finished in our workshop. No assembly lines. No shortcuts. Just honest craftsmanship and a deep respect for natural materials.
The Wood
We work primarily with natural hardwoods, chosen for their grain, their warmth, and their longevity. Each board is unique, which means no two pieces are ever exactly alike. The subtle variations in color and texture aren't imperfections, they're the signature of something genuinely handcrafted.
We use CNC and precision woodworking machines to cut and shape each piece with accuracy and consistency, then finish, assemble, and refine everything ourselves in our workshop. The result is a piece that combines the repeatability of modern tooling with the care and attention of a maker who takes pride in every detail.
The Stitch
The sewing side of our studio brings the same care to fabric. Our bags and pouches are cut and sewn with quality materials selected for durability and feel. Functional, beautiful, and built to last, because we believe everyday objects deserve to be made well.
Why It Matters
In a world of mass production, we choose to slow down. When you bring a JC Saw and Stitch piece into your home, you're not just buying a product, you're supporting a maker, a process, and a philosophy that values quality over quantity.
Thank you for being here. It means everything.
